    Hi. I had the same problem with a new 109 tilt from Exmore. I phoned them and they advised me to pull the end straps as tight as passible. I did this over a few weeks and kept it wet. Sorted the problem and now fits perfect. Chris.

    I had the same problem on my 1984 109 FFR. The problem was the Earth on the Dash. I removed the 2 Gauge's and cleaned the Earths. That solved the problem. My 109 does not have a Voltage Stabilizer fitted. Regards. Chris.

    I have connected the fuel pump to just 1 tank and it is running fine.

    Thanks for your reply. That had not occurred to me. However, I think I might gave a problem at the Change-over Valve. I got a strong smell of petrol in the Cab and when I checked the fuel lines I noticed that there was petrol under the valve. Checked the connections and all were tight.

    S3 2.25 petrol won’t crank

    If the engine is still attached to the gearbox then it could be a clutch or gearbox issue rather than the engine. Remove the engine before you go any further. It is not uncommon for the clutch plate to stick to the flywheel after lying up for a while.
