There are very few components on the Starting Circuit. Battery, Ignition Switch, Solonoid, Fusebox, Starter Motor, Positive and Negative Cables. Poor Grounding can cause all sorts of problems on these Landys.

You need a new Battery. Also, check your Earth Wires. May need a new Starter, however, I don't think you will.

Most likely the Wiper Motor.

You seem to have it roped down incorrectly

Don't do any off roading, just bog and country lanes. Also removed the extended Shackles for standard ones and used the top holes for the springs. I wanted a softer ride and needed to lower the whole vehicle by 2 inches for me and my old dog. Worked a treat.

I had the same problem on my 1984 109 FFR. Problem was the earth on the guages themselves on the Dash Panel. Remove both units an clean the small earth screws. This sorted mine.

Very straightforward to fit. Everything needed comes with the Step. Takes less than an hour. Just fitted 2 to my 1984 S3.

You need a bonnet with a recess in it to facilitate the spare wheel. Look out for an old military one.

Fit it on one of the lower Bell Housing Bolts.

As Nathan said, you don't need that. Just throw it in your tool box.
