Thanks ever so much for that. Gonna look further tomorrow, diagrams look really useful. Releasing the filler cap a turn seems to have quietened things a bit but I'm beginning to wonder if its the eas pump as it's making a bit of noise......think I'm just gonna have to pull a few things apart...

Blimey! That was quick! Thanks for that. Fuel pump was my first though and seems to be whirring away happily, this noise seems louder and appears to be higher up and behind the quarter panel.....near the sub woofer. Is there anything up there which is electro-mechanical? Pump/valve/solenoid...
