On my Disco I fixed this by adjusting the metal plate mounting that holds the actuator on the driver door. You have to remove the door card and pull off some of that black sticky stuff to access, the plate holes are slotted to allow adjustment, try a little left or right and note what happens...

Mine is doing this nearly every day as I normally have to drive a very rough african road to get out to tarmac and is p%%%ing me off. Is there a way of permanently disabling the crash inertia sensor, I am a dab hand with a solder iron but do not know which pins to short out on the circuit board. T.
