I had the same problem, I have contributed and asked questions but obviously too few. Broken hearted at selling the Defender but as I have just had my hours cut dramatically at work it is the car or the house (tough choice actually!).

Our Defender needs Waxoyl again but I don't have anywhere (or the time!) to do the job myself so I was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere I can go in Scotland (preferably around the Fife area) or even Northern Ireland. Thank you.

Thanks for replying quickly. There is no evidence of leakage so I was hoping the master cylinder was ok. Could it just be a problem with the Slave Cylinder?

I have a Defender 110 300TDI 1997. Several times now the clutch pedal had jammed down and I have to pull it up again before I can change gear. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what causes this and if there is anything I can do myself to stop it jamming?
