    sorry, the point of my thread is, do you think it was the cold temp or the battery at fault? Because I changed 2 things (charged battery and warmed filter), I can't figure out what the problem is.

    Yesterday came to start up but engine didn't fire, and the battery flattened in the process. Temp yesterday was about -10°C or so. I charged the battery overnight with a crappy charger and got the wife's hair dryer on the fuel filter. Engine started first time. Battery voltages: 12.4V...

    my 90 300tdi was nicked last saturday, 5am. someone across the road saw 'em but didn't say anything, though it was me... anyway, turned up with a truck, hitched up lanny and drove off. local plods got them on cctv, think they were heading for mway - suggested it could be linked to derbyshire...

    Door Linings off change locks

    both my last two landys had had the drivers door linings removed previously and we damaged sothat they didn't fit properly around the door catch - certainly no longer as sexy!

    thanks for the replies, it's the caps that cover the locking wheel nuts, unfortunately I have no wheel nut key nor plastic tool, I was hoping to get in them to determine which wheel nut key I'd need and then order one. what does the plastic tool look like? is there anything else that will do...

    alloy wheel nuts - stupid question...

    after selling out and getting a comfy CSW, I'm having to cope with alloys... problem is i'm having real difficulty getting the caps off - have tried various pliers etc but obviously don't have the knack. Anyone have any tips? cheers in advance
