    New Range Rover owner...possibly!

Hello mate As it stands the dealer has stated that they will repair/replace: ·Small rust spot on the roof's leading edge; ·Battery; ·Fault code in air suspension system (CAN BUS FAULT); ·Noise coming from lower central windscreen area; ·Security wheel nut adaptor...

Thanks again Steve. I emailed the dealer yesterday to see what they were going to do about the faults (as I'm working shifts). No reply so far! The previous owner seemed a bit shocked when I called (good old Google) but was quite helpful. In fact the dealer I called that used to service...

Cheers guys. Rob, I meant to say - I don't want to name and shame...yet! There was no paperwork with the car other than the service book (not unusual though, as dealers are usually completely disinterested in it), which showed the last service being in 2008. However, a quick call to the...

Hi SteveRR Thank you for your detailed response. The front differential was replaced in 2008. As for the gearbox, I didn't notice any of the symptoms you describe, however, as stated, I didn't really get to 'play with it' for very long. My engineer has reported that he feels that the...

In fact, he discovered that the oil and filter need replacing as well as the fuel filter - i'd been told by...

That's not all of it, the actual report is 16 pages long! Nah, don't fancy a Prius but wouldn't mind hearing why you think I should get one! Lol!

    New Range Rover owner...possibly!

I've had the results of my engineers report back and just thought i'd gauge what you guys think about me potentially buying it e.g. should this be one I walk away from? Small rust spot on the roof's leading edge; Windscreen seal slightly out of position; Securing clip missing from boot trim...

    New Range Rover owner...possibly!

As I sit and type this post, my independent engineer is inspecting the below 2004 (54) Range Rover 3.0 TD6 Vogue I am thinking of buying. As a potentially new Range Rover owner and complete DIY novice I thought i'd come and say Hello. If everything goes ok with this...
