    Series 3 Intermediate gear shaft

Could be your 1/2 syncro hub, mine did exactly this but with 2nd gear. I've used pattern gears and even a layshaft in my suffix A box and been fine for the last 8 years or so, much better to strip it all down and assess what needs sorting.

    Fitting cork crankshaft T seals

Personally I use RTV with great success. I had to swap the T seals on my 2.5 in situ a few years ago and just pumped with RTV instead (cant remember which I used but was a loctite one in a mastic tube I borrowed), much less fiddly than the cork seals, you just have to remember to leave a little...

THAT circlip on the primary shaft

Not much of a useful reply but I did it using 2 or 3 small screwdrivers and a bit of swearing, once its started on the shaft a bit of tube to knock it down into place

    2.5na Diesel lift pump type

They are pretty much the same, Delphi seem to be the better brand these days but even they are hit and miss. I had to make a spacer as the arm was slightly too long

    Series 3 2.25 diesel kangarooing

Have you got a cable or a rod setup? Cable is generally better On my cable set up the clevis pin had worn so was constantly getting fluctuating throttle.

can I bodge series 3 brake lights just for 1 night ?

Ive not had much luck with those brass switches (went through 3 duff new ones in a month, various brands including Lucas). Ended up making up a bit of angle inside the cab and fitting the later plastic switch from a 90. Was meant to be temporary but it works so well Ive just left it

Series 3 - Nasty crunch front passenger side

Check your leafsprings for any damage, plus u-bolts. Usually you can hear/ feel a knackered wheel bearing by moving/ spinning the wheel when jacked up. When jacking that side up, does the spring shackle move okay?

Series 3 Strange gearbox goings on.

Check the mainshaft nut hasnt come loose, common issue where someones just tightened it with a punch and hammer, the nut comes loose and the mainshaft can move back and forth

    exmoor trim seat fitting

Deluxe seats dont need a frame, mine sit on two rails bolted to the seat box.

    Deluxe seats,+/- head rests?

Ive got the exmoor trim hi backs in my 88", more expensive than the other deluxe high backs but they are excellent. My brother has just fitted a set of britpart deluxe high backs in his ninety and they seem pretty good for the price, only fault or rather annoyance with them is the non-adjustable...

    After some door advice plz

My sp door isnt great. Yes it fills the gap between tub and bulkhead but the curve doesnt match the tub and it's not even a curve, more of a flat spot. If my old door wasn't crumpled by a tractor I'd rather have an old one repaired than go for a new door. You can tell the lack of weight between...

New check straps too short? 2A 88"

My check straps are extended for the parabolics. Similar material just rivetted to the end of the old strap. You don't need them though these days as modern shocks have internal stops

    Series 3 Adjusting brakes

For adjustment Ive never used the 2 clicks method. Lock up the adjusters so the wheel is solid and then back off until you can rotate the wheel and just hear the shoes lightly dragging on the drum
