Thank you all for your helpful comments, I think I'll see what the local mechanic quotes me to do a proper job and leave the radweld alone. Hopefully he can use the shortcut techniques described to keep the cost down.

I have a P38 Diesel with a wet footwell on drivers side, appears to be coolant. Other threads suggest O rings and/or heater matrix (gulp). I haven't seen any discussion on whether Radweld/K-Seal etc would be worth a try to bung it up, what do you think? Also, has anyone got an idea what a...
