Hi I've got a S3 2.25 Petrol and it's burning a lot of oil (5 litres in 1500 miles). Not being a mechanic, have any of you guys got any idea what would cause this? it's only done 27K :confused:

Hi I drive an 82 Series 3 109. After getting used to all the little bangs and whistles she makes there is only one anoyance left. No intermitent wipers!! Do any of you guys know of a solution I can fit so I'm not twiddling the switch every 5 seconds in the drizzle.:confused:

Hello I'm thinking of swopping the engine in my S3 next year. It's a petrol 2.25 and I need something alot more economical. Anyone know the most suitable replacement (minimum work as I'll have to pay a mechanic:eek:) but wanted something a bit more upto date than the 2.25 diesel. Any ideas?

Hi I've got a Series 3 LWB Petrol 2.25 that I want to get converted to LPG (for obvious reasons). At the moment I have to add Lead addative as it hasn't been converted to unleaded. Does anyone know if I need to get it converted to unleaded before I can get it converted to LPG?:confused:

Hi I've seen some free wheeling hubs for sales on the internet. Would it be worth getting them for my SIII? what's the benefit of using them. Also is it worth changing my carb to a Weber.:confused:

Goona replace the exhaust system on my SIII this weekend. From the manifold to the down pipe there are threated studs. If I accidently sheer one of the nuts off, should I be able just to tap the rest out.:confused:

Hello I bought a Series 3 last weekend. Never owned one before:eek: . It's fitted with Anti burst locks and barrels for which I have the keys. I cannot for the life of me work out how the hell I lock the doors. Both keys work and I've tried every possible way, but I can't lock them. Am I missing...
