Adding spots, neatly! no scotch locks?

Hi, I used a stripping tool that just push the insulation out of the way so I could solder on the lead to energise the relay without splitting the wire. I then closed the gap and used self amalgamating tape. Hope this helps you.

    Breather in 2.5D NA

I don't see why you can't use coldweld on this. I would say that if you could remove the cover and apply on the inner face the it will work better. :)

    Breather in 2.5D NA

Hmm, I would vent to atmosphere myself first as its easy to do. One thought just struck me is the inlet manifold joint. Is this clear? As the pipe could be fine but the joint is blocked. If this this is not the case and venting to atmosphere does not help then the reason is more expensive/time...

    Breather in 2.5D NA

I can't see, but I guess the blue pipe goes to the air inlet. I would try a pipe directly from the top of the cyclone to the air inlet. any pipe of the right size will do for a test. This will remove the domed piece and see if this helps. ideally the induction vacuum will reduce the pressure...

    Breather in 2.5D NA

normally, the rocker breather returns to the air intake as a way of relieving the pressure in the engine. Your setup while returning the oil to the sump does not seem to relieve the pressure. I too have this tornado cleaner and the bottom is linked to the sump but the top I have routed via a...

    Help!

just my 2 pence worth, but if pressure in the rocker cover is this high there must be a blockage in the breather. something is not allowing the pressure to leave via the breather and hence it's finding another way. I'd remove the breather totally and see if it helps. I have and old td and it...

    Fuel tank vacuum

Hi Michael, I'd guess that it's not a vacuum but pressurising the tank. I had this happen on mine and used a quick search on here to find the solution. Try "2.5TD Boost Diaphragm". HTH

200Tdi Defender/Disco Engine for TD Conversion

Hi All, I'm now actively looking for an 200tdi engine to go into "George", my 90TD. I'll be trolling the local breaker too but no joy as of yet. If you have one or hear of a one that might fit the bill then please let me know. I'm hoping to find a sub-150K miles unit with ALL...

Anyone fitted a Griffin S/S exhaust

Hi, I recently visited one of the exhaust outlets for a quote on the rear two sections for my 1989 TD and they quoted me, wait for it, £170. Needles to say I said no and walked. I have just purchased said sections together with all the bits to fit them for £65. Ok, I have to fit it but that's...
