just got my disco back on the road and have noticed its very hard to select first gear. is it possible to adjust the selector ? my manual says take to a specialist do i really need to ? i do have to go a little past the mark to select a gear so when i go to select first its still in second...

any tips to help me remove the fulcrum i need to change my axle and replace ball joint for mot :o the two bolts seem to be welded solid its snapped me breaker bar so i got the impact gun on it and nowt happens any tips

whats the best way of doing it ? do i need some sort of stripping agent ? or can i just use smooth hammerite over the top? i know im sounding like a twonk but i dont want it to react and look a mess :o
