    I've trawled through a load of old posts but most come with power loss. It's the not switching off part that makes me think regulator

    2002 td4 P1190 fault code and eml. No loss in power. No extra smoke. No flat spot. When you switch the engine off it takes a 3 or 4 seconds extra to die. I'm thinking fuel pressure regulator or rail pressure switch.
