Hi all, wonder if anyone on here knows anyone or would be able to fit a clutch in my 2003 td5 90. I'm located in Gloucestershire and have purchased a clutch kit. I can deliver or it can be done on my driveway. Obviously will pay and provide refreshments. Thanks Darren

Quick update and to say thanks for the responses. Long story short when I took rear prop off it had loads of play in one of the uj's, for some reason this wasn't visible when it was in the landy. Anyway replaced prop with a new one and vibration has completely gone. Thanks again Daz

I've had exactly the same on mine, replaced front prop as there was a little play in UJ's, made no difference. Checked rear prop and no movement at all, took it off and there was about 1/4 inch movenent. I put a new rear prop on and vibration has gone. Not sure why the play in the rear prop was...

I'll try that, there seems to be no play in rear prop at either end and the uj's are tight too. Cheers

I have removed the front prop and driven around this morning in diff lock high. The vibration is exactly the same (maybe even slightly worse). Not sure what this tells me or eliminates if I'm honest.

Thanks for the reply and advice, been back under it today and things have moved on a little. The front prop is new and was put on about a month ago. There is about a 1/4 turn of play on the front prop into the transfer box but none at all on the rear. The clicking noise is still there but more...

Thanks for replying. The steering feels fine and there appears to be no noticeable difference play in any of the pulleys. It’s going in the garage tomorrow so I’ll let you know what they diagnose.

So the noise is definitely coming from one of these two. I know the top smaller one Is the roller idler. Can’t find what the bigger one is called. Sorry if it’s a dumb ass question! Used a stethoscope in the area to locate the noise.

Just checked the Damper and looks to be tight, no movement in it even with applying pressure and leverage to it.

I don't know without looking closer, but that would be a result. I appreciate your response and will let you know when I look into it further.

Thought i'd provide an update incase it helps somebody else. I have resolved the issue today. The actuator arm on the turbo was seized, plenty of wd40 and a pair of mole grips and good as new. I'm a happy bunny again.
