I know this is an old thread but just out of interest if you bought a 109 tub and were pretty good at metal work couldnt you shorten that to fita 90? didnt Mark Evans shorten a 109 to mak a 100"?

Fitted a new disco stat but temp gauge went right off the top and stat didnt seem to open so i took it back out. bought a smiths Deffender Gauge and still gave the same reading also borrowed one off a friend and that read the same. time to pull the head off it i recon?:scratching_chin:

Interesting this one. I have a series with a Disco 200tdi fitted i have the same noise but mine has no intercooler will it still be the pipe going into the turbo?

Stupid question but the fan is running the right way isnt it? if it is a suck fan make sure the flat part is facing your front bumper did have a simler problem once and i was using a suck fan (Designed for the back of the rad) on the front it wouldnt work till i turned it round Dont sound like a...

Cant put a disco rad in as my head lights are in the middle and i wont be able to get to one of the head light bulbs:(

Took Mule out for a run today stupid bloody thing i have been having clutch problems for a wile now changed master last week end did slave late last year now cant get any gears at all with out crunching looks like slave bracket is hitting front prop when i push the clutch down...

great :) got a couple of other mates with series landies who would love to come along too if thats ok? Dont worrie they aint the sort to keep gettig stuck:cool:
