I had the same problem...turned out to be the relay a yellow one in the box under the steering wheel, cost £4 off E Bay... i also got a spare too...just incase

Freelander 1998 D cuts out when at a junction then cant start it, pressed the engine cut out ..ok... starter turns but something strange "the indicators don't work either?" it suddenly works and goes for ages ..then again it stops? any Ideas????:whoosh:

Wel, had this freelander shed for over a year and half, and sitting looking at the roof today and wondered "whats the slot with the hole for then?" and thought ooooh i will ask the forum....well does anyone know??

I have an 'S' reg 3 door Freelander and the front windows dont work, I have checked the fuses and switches etc, I cant find out where the relay is located, even on the elec diagram it doesnt show its location on the fuse panel, Both windows are ded so it can only be the relay?

Just bought a rear door aerial bracket for my Freelander for £20, from a man who manufactures them,in Stoke, it fits on the spare tyre mount, so you can put any twig on the top, with no holes in the body or expensive gutter mounts, just thought i would pass this on to all Freelander and...

no noise or nuffink! this is on both sides, like there is no power to the switches... so it could be power supply to the switches from the relay or something!

bin on my freelander doors again, stil no joy on getting the windows to operate cant locate any of th wiring diagram...bought a workshop disk off the net but nothing on that helps either.... I give up

on my key it has LAND ROVER and the little light on the back door LAND ROVER the wife calls it GAYLANDER the kids call it THE TANK I Call it A B*****D so who cares what it is! THE WINDOWS STILL DON'T WORK!!!!!
