Finally sourced my problem to be the connection between the male bullet style connector on the feed into the light stalk and the flat contact strip that makes the connection to high or low beam if that makes sense? I've soldierd them together but have orderd a new stalk just incase it doesn't...

I will check them but the full beam works when I pull the stalk back but not if it was under normal full beam driving. Thanks :)

Well sadly it wasent the 60a fuse in the engine bay. Any other ideas?

My 300tdi defender headlights have stopped working, if you pull back the stalk you can flash the headlights so bulbs are fine. I've tried bypassing the main light switch to no avail. I've also replaced the light relay behind the dash. I don't know if it's related but my heater is not blowing at...
