Hi , following a journey home with some rattling and banging which turned out to be me! The brake disc protective cover on the drivers side front is now loose, having rotted round the bolt holes . Now what's the best fix please?

Long day, went up to 4 tech at leverington , wisbech today , had gearbox flushed and filter replaced . 280 mile round trip from shropshire , worth every mile . Results , smoother gear change through auto box. Old fluid looked black and very thin . Another job sorted ..

Hi all, what is the best option ? It's a 2002 92,000 miler . Realise the gear boxes arnt the strongest . Don't have complete history on car . Should I get gearbox filter and fluids flushed first?just trying to be a practical woman! Cheers in advance .
