Thanks i do appreciate that information after reviewing that code do you know if the communication breakdown would be coming from the module on the side of the transmission or would it be something internal

I have recently had my range rover scanned on a computer and i gave me 3 codes 1120-1121 and p 1775 i believe the first 2 code are fuel positioning but the 3rd code is a transmission code does anyone have any information on that code. Transmission is down shifting on its own.

The suv overheated and the 2 fans in the front of the radiators stop working and anti-freeze spill out of the fill container, trans. fluid looked good when i check it but i also change write after it over heated

Do you know what could cause the down shifting

I have a 97 range rover HSE 4.6 and i notice that there is a small vac-um hose hanging down from the shifting assembly on the Trans. does anyone know were it connects to, and would it cause my Trans to shift down into a lower gear out of the ordinary and cause the gear box default message to appear
