    well done danny,had mine running ok for a couple of days by refitting the air filter cover,making sure i got the rear lip inside the casing,bit of a sod to do tho,but back to the hesitation under 2000 revs again,so unplugged the maf yet again.its doing my head in now.:confused:

    GOOD Look mate,ive just gone off the posts on this forum,been to a couple of garages,but i seem to know more than them,dont realy want to try main dealers,going off this forum,i'd have spent thousands by now,and still been in the same possition. i'll stick to heads or tails.!!!!! :yawn:

    What a nightmare dannyuk29,ive got more or less the same problems.new hoses,new crankcase breather,changed filters and oil,egr bypass,new map sensor,and, ive got three different maf sensors,and still not solved the problem,runs ok when the maf is unplugged. debating whether to change the fuel...

    WANTED: Pierburgh Maf

    whats the reason you need it for ? i put a pierburg maf in my freeby, the 090 one, didnt make any difference,still had the same problems as before,intermitent revs,stop start action,disconected it to make it run better,uses more fuel tho. the pierburg cost me £100 from Air Mass Meters...
