    the blanking plate is NOT just apretty mod, you have to remove the pinion and fit the plate as the ird unit is still driving the output pinion which can damage crown and pinon on ird if worn

    Got my vcu from FREELANDER SPARES UK They are an exellent company and know freelanders inside out and are very helpfull on the phone.Alot of there mechanics worked for Land Rover and very helpfull.
