Put in new fuel if u havent already it goes off after a while, and take it a good blast like down the motorway to clear everything out. It shuld help.

Hi all the lights work now, one bulb was duff though it didnt look it, and im not really sure how i fixed it i just poked around the switch and the fuse a bit and they started to work, there must have been a bad connection, thanks for all your help you lot Cheers JD

Sorry to bother you all again, but today i went to drive the land rover to get it home now the the brake lights ect work but as i was driving it started to wander when it got over 15/20 mph, what do you think could be causing this and how do i fix it? Thanks in advance JD

it wont be the defraction plate, it will be the flux capasitor, though it can give the same symptoms.

I didnt know they could go in the wrong way, though they light up when u turn the lights on, would that happen if they were in the wrong way? Cheers JD

Only the switch is on the servo, the fuses on the steering column are fine, and im pretty sure there the right bulbs. Cheers JD

Hi all, following my previous threads ive got most of the eletrics working now, one of the things im stuck on is the stop lights, the tail lights work but the stop dont, theres power getting to the switch on top of the servo and the switch works so i think it might be in the inline fuse but i...

Dont use anything like the fuel system cleaner as it will strip the lead coating away quicker, use some lead additive every 3/4 by all means it will prolong the lead coating though it will still wear away eventually, and most lead additive also changes the octane rating. Cheers JD

Well people the engine started, i did the wiring on the glow plugs, changed the starter motor and it came to life :D . Thanks for all your help and im sure i'll be back for more lol. Cheers JD

I have replaced them with new ones from paddock spares they look compleatly different and there wired differently though they still need the resistor acordding to the wiring diagram that came with them. Just looked at the box there probe type if that means anything to you all.
