The defender was also part of the world record set at the Help for Heroes convoy in May time!!

Thanks for the support, don't think it was the circus people as someone tried to get in our garden and damaged the lock on the defender about a year ago too. I'll stick some pics on when I figure out how too.

It had a hefty chain round the steering wheel and attached to floor but i've heard they go underneath and disconnect steering to get round steering locks. Worst thing is its put my dad off buying another defender!! I hate the fact these thugs have won! Capster1204

Hi Everyone, My dads Defender was stolen in the early hours of 20th October 2011! No idea how they managed it without making a sound! Reg plate is V862 EEC. Its blue with white roof, utility, full roof rack, standard wheels, doesn't look anything special as it is covered in dints...

...series 2a/3 SWB for second car (a friend for my freelander) and trialling. Preferably with 200 TDI engine (willing to consider others) and in Derbyshire/South Yorkshire area (willing to travel slightly further). Would like to pay around £1,000ish. Cheers x
