Has anyone out there heard of MOT exemption for a fixed crane Landy? I am currently restoring a 1958 series 2 and being nosey I have just seen one similar on ebay, and the seller is saying iit is MOT exemp due to having a fixed crane???

when we got our 2 1/4 petrol series 2 half the ignition system was missing. so just wondering does the low tension lead from the dizzy go to the + or - on the coil?
