I just undid all the bolts. Easy taking things apart getting it back together is tricky

So when 8 is down I turn the screw on one until there is the right amount of clearence between the rocker arm and the top of the coil bit. So the valve will be pushed up at 8 and the coil compressed. Should I slacken off all the screws first

Thanks for the help I'll look into them. I was worried about the amount of crud in there. I'm taking it upto my local landrover guy next Saturday so he can end it off to get skimmed and whatever else. Is it just the head bit I need to give him.

Just looked at the eBay link you sent will that go across the front of the rad and is it not Ricky getting the hosing from the other side. The allsprt ones have in and out same side.

Yeah i'll defo be sorting the head gasket out. But while I'm replacing all the seals and doing all that I thought it may be as good a time as any to up the size of the inter cooler and mess with the turbo and fuel injector

Cheers the only ones I see are 400 quid is there any cheaper prices anywhere for a full width inter cooler. I have flushed the rad and will give it a good clean what else do I need to do to make sure it's working well enough for a full width inter cooler

Nice one. If I wanted to put a bigger intercollegiate in going right across the front of the rad how difficult is this and would I have to start to mess round with fuel injector and turbo. Is it worth it
