Decided to fit new egr bypass today, cleaned inlet manifold with mr muscle twice but never got near as much gunk out as I would of liked, so if anyone has any info on how to get manifold really clean i would really appreciate it as i'm planning on doing it again in the summer. As everyone else...

Hi all just bought the sureflow egr bypass and before I fit it i'm going to take inlet manifold off and Mr muscle it till clean and anything else that needs cleaning. Just one question though, after carrying out this task and get it all put back together would'nt it be wise to put in engine...

Hi Bex funny you should mention this as I had a new back box fitted to my 2001 td4 to get it through mot. when it was fitted beginning of february it seemed fine but about a week later it started making like a whistling noise at 2000rpm, the noise is like.......remember them plastic flexible...

Just put a britpart breather filter in my freelander td4 but its only temporary till i get the new bmw one. bit of advice folk ive got this whistling noise under my bonnet. Its there when i rev the landy and its there when i engage gear and pull away, usually noise at about 2000revs thought it...
