    Ideal. Possible idea is to bolt steel angle iron the length of the side floor adjacent to wheel arch then bolt floor onto that angle. Renew cross members and bolt them to the new floor across the width. Then either bolt to side floor or weld at that point.

    Thanks. That looks like it could be it, just the base of the thread looks different but providing the thread is the same it should be fine. Not an easy place to access to replace this neither.

    Yeh i have rang AF direct and with third party cover i got a quote for £960, which is ridiculous. My astra coupe tubo is cheaper to insure. I am going to ring sureterm and NFU next but like AF told me even tho the accidents were not my fault it will affect my premium... its unfair imo. Cheers...
