hi guys im trying to put a thread on the for sale (selling my td4) section but it wont let me any ideas??

has anyone ever had the top end clutches repaired? if so have they had any problems with the box after it? had a quote for 750 to fix the top end but they cant guarantee the rest..

box is knackered. has anyone changed an auto box with the car on axle stands??? and has anyone got a box they want to sell....? cheers

its it easier enough to do on the side of the road??

cheers i took it to a AUTO SPECALIST today they said the top end clutch have gone costing about 800 to 1000 to repair but he cant guarantee it. best to change box !! at a cost of 1900 quid

hi i have a problem again!!! my freelander has started slipping in top gear when it gets warm but doesnt happen all the time. i have fault codes p0100 and p1605 any ideas?? thanks danny

FIXED!!!! Its an injector !!! swapped two around and the problem folllowed it .. gave it a clean untill i get a new one and it stopped misfiring so fingers crossed might not need new one aswell... the coolant leak is coming from the egr cooler so will by pass that friday cheers for the...

130 thousand ive changed the fuel filter but not sure about pump.

hi ive used injecter cleaner and pulled each connecter off and all make a difference, one not as much as the others but still different.. ive checked hoses seem to be ok. what makes it worse the erratic idle is intermitent i aint changed the oil filter could that be the fault??

oh and im only getting about 25mpg

Thanks for the replys guys. had a look again today the air intake doesnt have as much oil as i thought hardly any to be fair. ive check the outlet @ the turbo it has a little oil init is this normal?? so i now have a erratic tick over and white blueish smoke on start up. it runs fine when...

this car is driving me nuts if i clean the air intakes and hoses it runs fine. if it was the turbo wouldnt it run the same cleaned or not??
