Embarrassing ... I just realize I have replaced my NNN500020 with a NNN500030 ECU .... (Note to myself, reading glasses - upper left chest pocket)

Any clue on the details of the mod needed?

Dear all, had some trouble with an ECU which roasted. Got another one for replacement (and re-mapped), and since I had the following problem. Th revs does not go down when depressing the clutch, so the switch seems to be in fault. However replacing it has not helped. There is aloo no difference...

The fuel pump has worked all along, but it does not fire

Problem not solved yet. Doubt it is lack of voltage as the car cut out while driving and a test with a fully charged battery made no difference

Which Main relay ?

Thank you! Plugs already cleaned, and battery re-charged over night. No difference. Will plug in the Nanocom, but do also suspect the ecu died

My TD5 cut out while driving. No post warnings, just a clean cut. Cranks fine, but fuel pump only runs if I shortcut the relay. Even when the pump is shortcut the engine does not fire. Any ideas?

well the axles are for sure strong, and the design of the splines could actually be very strong. It looks like the splines only go half through but it’s actually only offset, half of the length. Not sure if it makes sense. But why the design is done like this - no clue

Sorry not, it’s gone. I will soon take apart the other side and then I can take a snapshot.

Does anyone know who manufacturers CV joint which has splines looking like the pictured one? It’s a 110 CSW 2001. The previous owner fitted reinforced axles and CV joints, but I have no clue who made them ... rgds Lars

Thank you for input, for sure I will give it a check. However the rattle is not a continued rattle, it only occurs for a second or so when the clutch is pushed to the floor, and only when fully depressed. By this, I am thinking the release energy in the transmission could do funny noises...
