    chirping noise

    Hi all, Anybody come across a chirping noise coming from under the bonnet area, it only happens when accelerating normally. If accelerating hard, the noise is not there, if just reving the engine, the noise is not there. Really annoying noise but can't see anything obvious and not long had it...

    Hi everyone. User name topcatt. Just bought 1999 Discovery TD5 ES My first one and I need it to tow my daugters horse box. Really pleased with it, and what a pleasure to drive. I have got to fit some side steps, any advise welcome.

    belt or chain?

    Hi everone , I have just bought my first TD5 Discovery es. It is a 1999 model and it has no service history. can anybody tell me if it has a timing belt or a timing chain. If it is a belt what can I expect to pay to get it changed. Thanks topcatt
