hi guys and gals, need bolt's for 300tdi manifold to engine bolt's to be precise. all of them. Reason? she's been brought up on a farm...... everything is make do! :doh: sheared bolt?:confused: thread bar and a nut!:D 2years later. changed the gasket and the "make do" bolt's no longer...

Leak off pipes / Fuel spill pipes / Return pipes. all sound like sensible answeres. But i know the "parts expert" will still be confused. cheers guys.

quick question... i have a 300tdi disco. what is the name of the pipes between the injectors? they loop from one to the other and are bolted to each injector. need the exact name to make it easier for the "parts expert" on the phone that has "no mechanical experience":confused: help needed...

well to be honest, my 300tdi has been wrecked (cosmetically) but since i've had a promotion, i've found myself able to sort out the cosmetic issues and it's slowly becoming....PRETTY? hence the reason for wanting a shiny TD5. more miles on the tarmac than off it. but still capable for the (very)...

I'm tempted to get a TD5 ES Disco and get rid of my 300tdi. Thing is.... not sure if i should? TD5 is a 53 plate, 85k and from a well known garage so i know it will be fine and i'll get great after care. so what you think? should i go for it? :confused::confused::confused:

i managed to change all the discs and pads and 4wheel bearings on my disco 300tdi. a lot of tea needs to be drunk. got it done in 7 hours. thats from jacking up to driving out of garage. had my brother helping to. but if you get everything you need ready (we didnt) it should take less time...

try wheel bearings, or get the brakes bled. that caused my lack of braking during mot. wheel bearings where in early stages of going. easy(ish) fix. and i did my pads and discs but didnt bleed them properly. (apparently?) but they worked fine for the 2weeks after changing and before mot?
