Hi all, some tw*t tried to nick my batterd old 72 88 pick up last nite, got in it this morning to go to work and the ignition lights were on, strange thinks me, tried to put the key in the ignition and it wasnt there, ****S. rant over( sorry but it,s really ****ed me off :mad: ) Dave

thing is it ,s been doing it for about 4/5 months now, i was trying to keep it going till my 109,s finished, got a mint 200 for that, guess where thats gonna and up, and this time i,m leaving the turbo on, best stock up on diff,s n half shafts, eh:p

my 200 di s3 started to be a pain to start, then noticed back pressure, i routed the crank breather down under the chassis and all was well, then a week ago i started getting fumes into the cab so i fixed the breather pipe to the threaded hole on the inlet manifold. Mint no smell, no...

just put bollix on the back of my 88, works mint, will get front one,s when i can afford them but i,m in no rush ;)

try putting the kenlowe t/stat thingy on the outside of the top hose, seen it done on a few modified road cars and it works just the same cheers Dave

i used the diesel series stat in mine, had to get an adaptor to use the series temp sender in the 200 block to get the guage to read properly, no probs after that Dave

my local landy man and very good friend has a early series 2 109 pick up in his place for a few repairs. Its a 1957, 2 owner with 7,520 genuine miles .Its been laid up in a garage since the early 80,s and just wants a bit of freshening up.It has the oringinal metal backed no plates with white...

i,d keep it looking original but have a few user friendly upgrades, 200 di/tdi, perhaps sum bollox springs and fender seats, if your going to use it every day get some decent sound proofing sorted out, most of all enjoy !. (wouldnt go second left, its all smooth roads down there, try first right);)

had to cut mine off with a stihll saw, wasnt even glued on, just siezed, tried every trick i could think of, then a few i hadnt, brutal but got it off

why would it be null and void, if i submitt a engineers report, tell my insurance what exactly has been done whats the problem. As for doing a "gresham " i dont really no much about that, i do no that the mods, welding, fabricating and assembly of my landy are being done by my local landrover...

How will they no if i dont tell them ?::confused: if i tell my insurance, give them an engineers report and get it mot,d who will no any different, tax it and away i could go, not that i would, obviously :p
