    Sorry for the "truck" thing. And I'm from Mexico, english is not my first language, sorry about using the wrong term :) Mark2, they explained that it was made to spec, that it was built according to the dimensions of LR. I will try to take a picture later.

    Mark2, yes, I have. They claim that it is made to spec, that it fits perfectly. I'm about to return it, but I want to know bit more about my truck. This issue got me curious.

    (Other than the steering wheel, of course.) I have a Freelander 2003 V6 bought in Mexico and I bought a hitch for it in the USA. The hitch is supposedly made for all freelander models between 2001 and 2005 but it doesn't fit. The hitch is made for a gap of about 36 inches between the frame...
