Looks good, but its a huge amount of money and does a Freelander go fast enough to warrent a spoiler?

Of course, its the common rail bit. I assume a sort of plennum chamber. I think its a blind hole, i.e. it the hole doesnt go all the way through the plate. If there is nothing comming out of it, then I guess its not a problem.

My TD4 has the same hole. Thats not the turbo though. The turbos is at the back of the engine. Don't ask me what that plate is, I assumed its the rocker cover, but that doesnt seem to be correct either.

Could I suggest seats form a Facelift Freelander. The seats I have on my 04 HSE are very comfy and more than good enough for a few hours at the wheel.

Yes it will and if your Bossh MAF is out of spec, it will improve things a huge amount. The main Synergy 2 is vey easy to fit. The remote switch, which isnt really required, is a bit more difficult to get the wire through the bulkhead. I am amazed what a difference the Synergy 2 makes...

I have had an 04 TD4 for about 4 years and have had no real problems with the car at all. I can recommend the TD4 as a great powerplant and if you also fit a Synergy 2 module, you will have wonderful car.

I worked with a guy who was part of the Freelander design team responsible for cabin conditioning. Even he said it was poor. Too many 'more important' requirements placed ment the a/c was never very good and was very noisy.

The water wasnt that deep but the car sucked up the water. As I remember, the air intake is quite low and that god awful shape probaly channelswater to where its most distructive.

Was this Freelander designed or thrown together without a thought for anything. OK dont answer that, we all know the answer.

Mines done about 48,000 and the shoes look like new. Very little wear on the drums, not a lot of dust when I took the drums off. Yet front discs had worn quite badly and pads had lost about 3/4.
