Hi,had the same problem,not any more.It was the starter relay(under bonnet behind battery next to fuses).To check this swap it with the rear wiper relay next to it(its the same).if this works new relay should be about £18.

Hi,my T reg td5 averages 28-32 mpg.It is a manual-autos will drink more and fitting bigger wheels/tyres doesn"t help.Dunno if the latter applies to your Disco.

No fluid,just air.Does suspension drop on one side or both sides when left overnight..

Just had 1 of my airbags replaced-parts and labour £140.Try a 4x4 specialist,not a Landrover dealer.The opposite bag went about 8 months ago and the previous owner paid £440 at dealer prices. I"ve been told they do perish every 80,000 miles or so.If it is bag leaking it usually drops rear...

Any advice welcome.The 200tdi Defender has served me well but with a worsening back a little more comfort is needed.The budget will stretch to a late Discovery 300tdi or an early TD5,but the question is which one?Is one more reliable than the other? Also is the build quality better on the TD5s...

Hi, Anyone had problems with Stop Solanoid sticking.Have had to clean it twice now.Found nice shiny iron filings in it and dont know where they are coming from.Any ideas?No lack of power or any other problems.Cheers...

may be of use as a cheap but good alternative but I was recently in B&Q when I came across some thick (about 5 mils) rubber matting with a chequer plate pattern.Bargain-about 8 quid for a sheet about 4x5 foot-ideal for load area..good luck..easyrider

Hi In need of advice.My 90 needs new shocks all round.I use it mainly on road with light off road use.Would fittng Gas Shocks give a more comfy ride or are they not worth the extra cash. Problem is I like the wagon but am starting to suffer with bad back.Thanks for any advice........easyrider
