My gear lever decided to go all "mr floppy" last night. It rotates although with extreme difficulty i can just about find all the gears. I had a look at it this morning, and at the bottom of the lever, there is a semi circle ball in a housing. The ball has a slot in the side, in the housing...

Front and rear diffs still wanted from an early disco/rr classic for my series 3 2.1/4 petrol. I,m in essex, but can travel as postage will be silly money......not tooooo far though;)

Well, here's me new toy. Colours wrong, wheels and tyres are wrong, hood frame is a cut down bodge job...what else ? Ive already changed the leaking tank, done a bit of a repair on the hood frame, replaced the starter, not doubt the start of a long and menaingfull relationship:)

My newly aquired lightweight is slightly undergeared for my needs, I vaguely remember sticking some rangie diffs in my old 109, but that may have had a salisbury diff, I cant remember....can it be done?.
