    I have been trying for weeks to get a refund for wrong parts sent, I sent them back at my expense,with returns number etc. been fobbed off time and time again.

    The more I look into this the more confused I get. some oil companys say GL5 is ok, others say dont use it. I will take the advice of others on this site, who know more than me, and refill my disco with GL4. Blottie.

    I bought a disco 300tdi new in 1995. I bought a factory workshop manual at the same time. The manual states GL4 or GL5 may be used. I have used GL5 from one year old over 78,000 miles with no problems. regards blottie.
