    Thanks for the replies. It is a V reg, so 1999, and it has 80,000 miles. It's 1.8. I am disabled and need the height to get in and out of a car, this was perfect for me, so I really do want to try and save the vehicle if I can. What sort of damage do you think I did? Thanks for any (useful!)...
