it was only sliced along the length of the "bayonet" so its still long enough. has anyone done a sucssesful splice to this type of fuel pipe? Does anyone know if the fuel feed line has a quick release fitting at the fuel tank end? lots of questions i know but its all complete except fot...

Hi all Having recently sourced a replacment 1.8 engine for the fecked freelander my father in law Graham and myself removed the old engine and replaced it with my "new" engine over a few days. Well, this is were it turned in to a nightmare as when we removed the old engine we had a broken...

i have thought about another piston but i have some reservations regarding the height of the damp liners....in my engine the liners are almost flush with the top of the block....is this to low? is it worth giving it a go? i'm not sure if other forum members think it will work i'll give it a...

220 turbo.....sounds good would it be a fairly straight swop or is there a fair amount of modification required ? i only ask as i'm new to the K series engines and don't know what my options are

good info chaps, thanks cracked / holed piston could be coolant in the bore? i hope that if its rebuilt well it should be ok...we'll see so...a new piston could be a way forward along with the new oil rail, skimmed head,mls gasket,new bolts ect so were should i start trying to souce...
