    I am having problems Changing gears in my 2007 90 defender, sometimes its worse than others. I can change up & down all gears when the engine is turned off so I'm guessing its a problem with the clutch rather than the gear box its self...? also I am now unable to push the diff stick to the left...

    Wow that's a hugely reduced rate! I'm with elephant at the moment & have 6yrs no claims & it still costs me £624pa for a policy that is non specic about off roading! Thanks for all the info guys I will give them both a call.

    thanks for the kind offer, the bulge is due to the different engine shape in the 2007 + models so i'd need to get a reinforced bonnet with the same bulge. do you go on any off roading tracks nearby?
