    L405 SOS

Interesting.... I have a 2015 Vogue SE and my stop/start battery failed to the extent that I had a permanent warning on the dash that the stop/start system was not available (not that it ever works anyway!) but I had no messages about the SOS system. Pete

    405 Standard Vs long wheelbase

I've got an L405 and, like you, rarely carry rear passengers. It's a big enough beast as it is and longer than most parking spaces. I wouldn't want to have another 8 inches behind me. I've driven 2 screen cars, and touchscreens seem so much fiddlier and more distracting to use than...

    L405 advice

I have a L405 TDV6 and the stop start hardly ever works..... When the car is serviced that seems to spur it into action for a day or so and then it gives up. Apparently it needs something like 25 different parameters to be met before it will work properly. My driving conditions don't merit...

    Sad News,

Very very sad news. Wammers' expertise and 'to the point' comments were a huge benefit to this site and all the Landy Rover crowd. My sympathies go to all his family and friends.

    P38A rave

Did you follow Wazzajnr's instructions?............ "To use the version of rave that I have here, the best option is to download the folder called "rave" and then simply double click on the "rave-lr.pdf" file. This will take you to the homepage where you can select your vehicle. I know that is...

    L405 Road sign recognition missing

When I bought mine I was able to register with Topix https://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm and see my car's service history, find a build sheet showing all the options & accessories fitted to my car, and download handbooks etc. I have just tried logging in but the system...

    Classic 3.5 EFI Running Poorly

These documents for testing the EFI system may be helpful. It's been a while since I had my 3.5 but I seem to remember having a similar problem which I cured by fiddling/cleaning the Throttle Butterfly and the Extra Air Valve. Good luck! Pete

    Other Head Up Display

This is the latest development prototype of heads-up display satnav, shown at the CES 2019 Tech Show in Las Vegas https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/technology-46860454/ces-2019-the-sat-nav-of-the-future-has-arrived Pete

    Other Head Up Display

I agree - technology is great - when it works. But without the basic understanding and common sense e.g. ability to use map & compass, you are screwed if the technology fails or if you trust it blindly (e.g. people following satnav instructions into fords etc). Pete
