    Where to buy a connecting rod?

    Im in NOrthampton. its a 1993, 90, 200 tdi, 2.5l. Obviously I would need a head gasket as well. Been quoted 65+vat for the rod and 10+vat for the gasket, with p&p comes out at £100. If you can beat it I would love to hear from you. Cheers Andy

    update: its not the push rods, had the rocker cover off and the rocker mechanism, all the push rods are fine and when running they all travel fine :-(. Backed off the top bolts of the injectors and isolated one of the cylinders which isnt efected by fuel starvation, so con rod change! Going to...

The problem is that the water managed to make its way into the air filter, which in turn has sucked it into the intercooler/ turbo, the air filter, the oil...
