Lost traction, torque converter broke away from mounting, it was recommended that due to potential contamination to gearbox I replaced that as well. Up to losing traction all was running well

Just fiited a recon gearbox to my td5 when drive is selected it stalls the engine even without the handbrake being applied. Spoke to the chap who reconned the box & he assured me all his work is good & perhaps I should fit a new ecu. Anyone had a similar problem

Hi whats the fuel consumption now compared to before. Ive got a 03 disco td5 at present I get about 19 mpg nocking about town Cheers John
