Found the issue with my Discovery, the cylinder head is cracked!!! Will a head from another 300 tdi Discovery be the same as an import with an edc pump? Thanks Robbie

I have fitted a new timing belt kit using the proper locking pins. My mate that i bought it off said he advanced the timing for it to start better but unsure how to put back to where it should be?? Could this be causing the white smoke when warm? Robbie

It starts off the button and I have replaced the turbo with a good second hand one with no play in it. It definitely seems to be white smoke and when I give it a couple of revs it clears!!
