Thanks for the fast reply. i have got the old stud out and have ordered a new set of studs but need to fill the hole so i can drill and tap it. i dont have a tig welder so am at a loss

Ok so when refitting the exhaust manifold i had a stud snap but just to make things worse as i was drilling it out the drill bit snapped leaving me with this 10+mm hole where the stud should go is there anyway that i can fix this or is it scrap have added a photo for your amassment

thanks for that if the lugs are broken what am i looking at a replacement gear box or can it be fixed ? also when im fitting the tc is it a case of lining the lugs up then rotating it till it sits back on the measure then take the measurements as u said ?

is there anyway to see if i have done any damage to the gear box oil pump when i take the engine out to re fit the Torque converter ?

yea im almost shore its gearbox oil and the torque convertor was taken out with the engine. ok will remove the engine and how do i line the torque convertor up is it just a case of lining the shafts up i have also ordered a new oil seal so will replace that at the same time

the peddle dues work but very very low and i have pumped it and it doesn't change anything

and if it was the master cylinder i would not get a good peddle when the engine is off or it would fade ? but the peddle is fine but as soon as the engine goes on im almost on the floor before it stops

but i change it for another one that was working at the start so i dont think thats the problem

yea it dues if u push it fast. I have bleed it lots so what am i missing im shore that its something to do with the ABS?

should the engine be running when i bleed the breaks ??

hi yes it was a new pump but still did not pump at all i have filled the oil switch hole with oil till it poured out but still no luck, will try Vaseline next

i didn't put any Vaseline in it just some oil when i assembled it but i have been reading tonight that i should take the plug out and run the engine on the starter motor till the oil light goes off is that right ?
