i knew some one would say this sorry to inform you but !!!! the rust hasn't gone that way to the back of vehicle back down arch liner it was rotten not bad tho seen worse and im sure you would moan to him if it was supposed to fail but it didnt seat belt ancorage was checked both sides clean...

so if you needed mot you wouldn't use fibre glass method i got mig welder in shed.but it the easy option to get mot out the way and for what its worth the arch aint main chassis so no strengh lost is there. i stick to fibre glass for arches next thing to do it battry tray haha:D
