my disco td5 has been in local dealership for last 5 weeks ..enough is enough,any good landy mechanics wanting a job to get my car woke up from its immobilised sleep..willing to bring car to your garage.i heard there is a guy in airdrie and one in ayr that specialise in landys..please someone...

can only open the door with original key,spare key also..turn on ignition then nothing but chimes and imobiliser light flashing away..cant open passenger door or internal opening switch of all doors and tailgate..its a nightmare its up at mates work lying out of commission,as ive said in earlier...

please is there anyway that my imobiliser can be switched off?..my car gave up the ghost at the weekend..imobilised and that noise of no engine starting and the bells of doom..ive heard that if you go into a local dealer with engine number you can get a unlock code..dont know if thats a goer..as...

is it possible to disconect them?..without doing any damage..or is it safer to cover them up?..suicidle disco owner here needing help for my high pitched alarm going off in middle of night..is there an easy sollution to a full nights sleep?..any help would be most appreaciated...just wondering...

cheers everyone for ideas..looks much better with the old silver insert removed..was very tatty and broken in bits..used buff spray for doing punctures and then got back here and tried the old hair dryer,,looks great ..ty again

please please help me disco2000 td5 has started alarming during the night 3 times now and during afternoon,,randomly on it comes and i cant get it to go off untill it runs its course till this morning that is..it went off once for 30 seconds i got up and immedietly pressed fob and opened drivers...

thats exactly what was wrong with the heater wire it was trapped and bared, as for the brake light hee hee my nephew who tested the light was wrong the bulb was shot..o another fix was the door getting adjusted on the hinges,we lined up the old marks and now the door sits good with no leak now...

ty dooroy i looked through the owners manual and found the fuses to be under the steering wheel ,when i fitted a new green 30 amp one to the already blown fuse holder it poped as soon as i switched on,so theres obviously something not right there,,again much obliged in you helping me,,as i said...
