hi guys , sorry for late reply , was working till 3 am , the top hose isnt getting hard , going to take fan belt off and make sure the water pump turns ok , and going to take thermostat out and see if that helps , if that fixes it il replace it

Hi guys , my range rover p38 4.0 is overheating after being driven for 20 -30 mins , not had any time to look at it yet , but wondering if this is a common thing or any common things to check

removing the cat will not effect the mot , as long as its not blowing it cant be failed , trust me im a mot tester lol

changed them last weekend , plus oil and filter , and injector leak off pipes

it sounds like its coming from the engine bay , may well be diesel knock , am going to have a look at it this weekend , will try and see if it stops when you accelerate past 3000 rpm

hi , just joined today , hoping someone can help , ive not long bought a 2.5 diesel p38 ive noticed when driving it i get a rattle or a knocking noise when you accelerate above 2500 rpm , the rattle is only there when under load , doesnt do it if you are parked up and revving engine any ideas ?
