    Defender 110 Ex-Military 12v 2.5 N/A Diesel - cutting out

Sorry if I've posted in the wrong bit. - My Ex-Military 1994 110 Defender 2.5 Non Turbo diesel seems to have a cutting out problem. It starts fine and runs sweet, however when driving there seems to be a lack of power (2.5 N/A joke aside) there has been a noticeable reduction in acceleration...

94 Range Rover 200TDI engine swap

Delighted to find, the Head Gasket was shot, right at the back of number four cylinder. Popping like a good un. All sorted and back together with a clean and tidy head, running great.

94 Range Rover 200TDI engine swap

My 1994 Classic Range Rover on an ‘M’ plate is the very last factory fitted with 200TDI Land Rover Engine and manual gear box. It has now been diagnosed with a blown Head Gasket, (carried out the smoke test) best result is a new Head Gasket. Worst result is a cracked block. Million dollar...

TD5 rear light Electrics and damp?

This is the time to shout Muppet at me. Thought that the genuine tow ball and electrics wouldn't need checking, turns out the seven pin socket was duff and had blown the fuse number F33 (10A), didn't occur that was the reason as all had been working when fitted about two weeks ago. Again a big...

TD5 rear light Electrics and damp?

Okay, checked the fuse(s) and none have blown, double checked by swaping a working one. Front off side (drivers side) side light isn't working. So working back, if the fuse is okay (it is) and both the rear light and front side lamp don't work, is it a 'live' feed or 'earth' problem?

No, answers are spot on. I have to say sorry, as my laptop screen froze I thought first 'post' didn't show so more haste less speed, I 'posted' again, thanks for the answers will be sorting out tonight, Ralph.

    TD5 electric problems

Ok three questions, two fairly easy I think, one really annoying one. Firstly, it’s a TD5 2004 so it’s got the facelift headlamps. Offside front lamp has an enormous amount of condensation inside it. I’ve removed it dried it out (wife’s hair dryer) refitted, having checked for a split, crack or...
