    Disco nightmare

Thoroughly check the wiring loom around the engine, especially where it passes over the air con pump and to the left of the fan underneath the acoustic cover (looking into the engine bay from the front). The looms have a habbit of rubbing and wearing through in these areas causing all sorts of...

td5 in tank fuel pump change ...... any tips ?

Its a simple enough job, i`ve taken mine out a few times. The 4 pipes are colour coded so make sure they go back in the same place, (i got a felt and wrote on the boot floor panel so it is always there under the carpet). Remove the wiring connector, Unscrew the big lock ring and the pump will...

Disco 2 Radiator Change - Can it be done without removing the fan?

I have an 03 disco TD5 and i changed the radiator without removing the fan. Just be carefull when bleeding the system after refilling. The plastic bleed screw breaks off really easily. That spanner range will be ok but you will need screwdrivers too for the hose clips, or pliers if they are the...

Removing top windscreen finisher (rubber) on a D2

That stuff is good, i have used it before but on my disco i actually used unibond roof and gutter sealant piped in along the back of the top seal, worked a treat. The seal is fitted at the same time as the screen so can not be removed and refitted on its own Mark

How to solve a "wondering wagon!"

Tyre pressures wouldnt make the tyre wear on one edge, low pressure would wear on both edges, over pressure would wear in the center so it wont be that. So i would be looking for either bad alignment or a worn bush on that side, causing the wheel to toe out. Mark

We used chemical metal on a range rover classic diff casing that was leaking. it was my dads car, he had it for 3 years like that. Then i bought the car from him and had it for another 4 years, and it still was holding when i sold it. I would definately give it a try, just make shure the...

Need a new radiator - where to buy?

Now you have said that you have received it you would have to return it by registered post to get a refund, unless you have bought it from a seller registered as a business. Then they have to pay the return post, but you would probably have to fight for it, but under the distance selling...
