    Thanks for the reply but I was talking about sealing them on the outside of the rim in the gap where the rust always seems to start. I can see that tiger sealing the tyre on would be a problem!

    I will not for the foreseeable future be using it for more than a couple of hundred kilos. The reason why I went for such a big yolk is that I intend to do a pile of overlanding in a few years time at which point I intend to return it back to the stiff suspension. steve
